LifeStream Blood Bank earned two awards for digital marketing programs in the inaugural Healthcare Digital Marketing Awards based in Atlanta, GA.

LifeStream won Gold in the “Total Digital Marketing Program” category for its “O Neg Month at LifeStream” campaign; and Merit in the “COVID Response Category.”

Ashley Dinkel, digital marketing specialist, created and executed the winning programs.

“I’m very pleased to see Ashley and our Marketing team recognized in competition with healthcare providers nationwide,” said Rick Axelrod, MD, LifeStream’s president, CEO and medical director.  “The team consistently produces engaging, informative digital content, and I’m proud of their dedication to bringing greater awareness to our mission.”

“This recognition is particularly rewarding since it comes from our peers,” said Angela Ross, director of Marketing and Public Relations. “I’m happy for Ashley and for our entire team that commits itself daily to communicating the goodness of blood donation to the public we serve.”

Nearly 300 entries were received from healthcare institutions across the country. Judges for the HDM Awards consisted of a national panel of healthcare marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals, and the editorial board of Healthcare Marketing Report.

Awards recognized best healthcare websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media. Entries were judged on creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application and innovation content.

LifeStream is a nonprofit, local blood bank that provides blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals in six counties. For more information about LifeStream, the blood donation process, and to set an appointment to “give the gift of life” visit www.LStream.org.
