Celebrate Love This Valentine’s Day: San Bernardino County Welcomes Couples Saying “I Do”

San Bernardino, CA — For the first time in San Bernardino County history, Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Josie Gonzales is opening the Hall of Records to perform marriage services on Saturday, February 14 to help those wishing to unite in matrimony.

“My office recognizes Valentine’s Day is the most popular date for weddings, and we want to serve our community,” said Josie Gonzales, San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk. “It’s an honor for my office to be part of such a special milestone in the lives of so many couples.”

The Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk’s Office proudly provides marriage services year-round, offering couples a seamless and welcoming experience as they obtain their marriage license and declare their commitment. Because Valentine’s Day is the most popular date for weddings, symbolizing love, unity, and new beginnings we are for the first time going to open our San Bernardino office on a Saturday for marriage ceremonies.

“My team is dedicated to serving the public with professionalism, efficiency, and care,” Assessor Gonzales added. “Whether it’s Valentine’s Day or any other day of the year, we are happy to assist couples get started on their journey together.”

The services at the Recorder-County Clerk’s office on February 14th will be limited to those wishing to have marriage ceremonies performed. Couples must complete the marriage license application beforehand online at https://arc.sbcounty.gov/marriage/, then call (909) 387-8306 to secure your appointment for Saturday, February 14, 2026. Appointments will be available on a first-come-first serve basis and you must call to make the Saturday appointment.
