The State of California’s Employment Training Panel announced that it approved a $470,000 contract to Riverside Community College District’s Office of Economic Development to train up to 800 local workers through Customized Training Solutions.

This award assists Customized Training Solutions in being a catalyst for helping businesses in the region build and retain a skilled and innovative workforce.

“With unemployment in the Inland Empire down in some areas to approximately four percent, it is vital for businesses to have access to training that unleashes passion and renewed commitment from employees,” said Mark Mitchell, director, Business and Corporate Innovation.

The award will allow Customized Training Solutions to take training to a new level and build a culture of innovation for local businesses.

Customized Training Solutions has been approved to deliver a selection of new programs in advanced manufacturing technology, computer, continuous improvement and hazardous materials. The training is facilitated by training professionals and subject matter experts and conducted at the company’s site.
