On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Fleming Park in Colton was abuzz with excitement as the community came together for a night filled with food, games, and live entertainment. Organized by the Colton Police Department, the event was a shining example of the strong bond between the city's residents and their local law enforcement.

The warm summer evening provided the perfect backdrop for this annual celebration, which has become a beloved tradition in Colton. Families, friends, and neighbors flocked to Fleming Park, where they were greeted with a festive atmosphere.

The event was more than just a chance to indulge in delicious food—it was a night dedicated to community spirit.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presence of Colton Police Department officers, who mingled with the crowd, engaging in conversations, and participating in the festivities. The event served as a reminder of the importance of community-police relationships, emphasizing the commitment of the Colton PD to fostering trust and cooperation within the city. Their participation in the games and activities, along with their warm interactions with residents, demonstrated their dedication to being more than just law enforcement officers—they are a vital part of the community.
