Loma Linda Transportation of Marijuana for Sales

LOMA LINDA >> At approximately 10:24 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, Deputy A. Lopez conducted a traffic stop in Loma Linda and contacted two males and a female occupant. They were identified as Shante Winn (driver), and passengers Mohamed Ahmed and Mohammed Abdelbaset. Deputy Lopez determined Winn was driving on a suspended license and gave consent to search the vehicle. A strong odor of marijuana was omitting from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, several pounds of processed marijuana packaged for delivery/sales and a large amount of cash was located. Through further investigation, authorities discovered that all three subjects were staying at a hotel in the city of Ontario. A search warrant was authored and served at their hotel room. During the search of the room, additional paraphernalia and packaging to substantiate the illegal transportation of marijuana was located. All three subjects were arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for Transportation of Marijuana for Sales.
