Summer is only a couple of weeks away. That is music to my ears because, as always, Moreno Valley is full of fun activities and events for residents and their friends and family. We’ve got music, movies, parades, and celebrations throughout the season.

Our summer events kick off with Moreno Valley’s Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 15, from 1 – 5 p.m. in the Civic Center Amphitheater Main Lot. Join us for good food, great performances, and a spirited celebration of freedom and community.

The MoVal Rocks and MoVal Movies summer series will also return this summer. There’s no better way to spend a beautiful Moreno Valley evening under the stars than watching family-friendly films and entertaining, talented bands at our Civic Center Amphitheater.

Our MoVal Rocks takes place every Thursday and our MoVal Movies occurs every Friday evening from June 27 to August 2.

On July 4th, we’ll celebrate Independence Day ‘the MoVal way’ during our incredibly popular Fourth of July Parade & FunFest. This signature Moreno Valley event will feature an exciting parade down Frederick Street and our fantastic FunFest later that day at the Civic Center Amphitheater.

We also have exciting summer programs, camps, classes, and events in Moreno Valley. Check out our Soaring Activity Guide for more information.

I look forward to seeing all of you throughout the season. For the full lineup and details for this summer’s rockin’ events, visit moval.org/parks.
