The Moreno Valley Master Chorale and Orchestra will begin its 36th choral season with a concert of Christmas music on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 11650 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley, CA 92557.

Please plan to come, sit back, and relax, as the chorale and orchestra, put you in a festive mood while performing a peaceful selection of holiday music by J.S. Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, William Crotch, and others. Of course, the concert will also feature solos by famed lyric soprano, Camelia Voin, as well as our traditional “Sing-a-Long” of favorite Christmas carols.

Camelia Voin is an acclaimed lyric coloratura soprano who has performed throughout the United States and abroad as an operatic, oratorio, and recital soloist. She has appeared on some of the world’s most important stages, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Teatro Gayarre in Pamplona, the West Palm Beach Opera in Florida, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, and many others. She will be singing “Laudate Pueri Dominum” by Antonio Vivaldi, as well as G.F. Handel’s, “How Beautiful are the Feet of Them” from Handel’s “Messiah.”

Tickets (cash only) will be available at the door and are priced as follows: for adults $15.00; seniors, students, and children over 5 years, $10.00. For more information call (951) 485-8414 or (951) 242-4963, or go to the Chorale’s website at www.morenovalleymasterchorale.org.

On January 9, 2023, the Chorale will begin rehearsals for our spring Music of the Masters concert. New singers are welcome to join us at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church for rehearsals every Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Also, students 16-21 years of age are encouraged to apply for one of our Youth Internships. This program is open to any student who wants to improve his/her singing abilities. New singer registration forms, or Youth Internship applications, can be found online at: www.morenovalleymasterchorale.org.
