The 7th annual Spring Garden Festival & Flower Show will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10 am – 4pm  at the Lawrence Hutton Community Center, 660 Colton Ave, Colton, CA 92324.  Admission is FREE.

The flower show will feature Luminary Floral designs, petite floral designs as well as container plants, cut flowers, eatables, educational displays and garden club information.  A new section of photography has been added this year. There will be opportunity to attend presentations on “Care and Propagation of Cactus & Succulents,” “Make Your Own Hypertufa Containers,”  and “Begonia Propagation and Growing Outdoors.”  At 1:00 P.M. there will be a special time for “Hands on Planting with Kids.”  The children will take home plants and seed which they have planted.  An Orchid Doctor will be on site to answer your questions about the culture, medical treatment and counseling of  your orchids.  You may purchase orchids, succulents, interesting plants, and other miscellaneous items from the vendors during the festival.

There is no charge to enter the flower show and the public is encouraged to attend and exhibit. All design classes require prior registration with Linda Lang, 951-663-5237. The show will be judged by National Garden Club Flower Show judges.

Sponsors of the festival are the Inland Empire Master Gardeners Club, the Riverside Flower Show Assoc., and the Riverside /San Bernardino Counties Orchid Society (all are members of the National Garden Clubs, Pacific Region, and  California Garden Clubs, Inc).

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Ron Lang at 951-663-5237.
