Donate Blood

January is National Blood Donor Month—a time to highlight the importance of giving the gift of life. Donating blood is a simple way we can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Whether it’s for a patient undergoing surgery, someone injured in an accident, or a person battling a chronic illness, every pint donated can help to save up to three lives.

We all have busy lives, but donating blood can take less than an hour. It is a small act of kindness with a ripple effect of hope and healing. Plus, it’s a great way to kick off the new year with purpose and compassion!

If you’ve never donated before, don’t worry—it’s quick, easy, and safe. Blood drives are happening here in Moreno Valley and the surrounding communities not only this month, but also throughout the year. Our local blood banks are always ready to welcome new donors. Check out LifeStream Blood Bank or the American Red Cross to find a location or blood drive near you.

To those of you who regularly donate, thank you for being a lifeline to so many in need. Your generosity is why we are a community that cares and looks after one another.

Together, we can ensure that every hospital, clinic, and emergency room has the necessary resources to save lives.
