SAN BERNARDINO >> On Tuesday, March 21, at approximately 9:03 p.m., Deputy Gile was conducting routine patrol when his assigned patrol unit received a LoJack notification. Gile coordinated with responding units and the use of LoJack devices. The stolen vehicle was located, unoccupied, in the driveway of a residence in the 1300 Block of Davidson Avenue. The residence where the stolen vehicle was located was boarded up and abandoned. Gile located and detained six subjects at the residence. During a search of the abandoned residence, items related to identity theft were located. Those items included the following: multiple stolen identifications, stolen checks, and stolen credit cards. Further investigation led to the identification of Paredes as the driver of the stolen vehicle. Alonzo, Rodriguez, and Tome were occupants of the stolen vehicle. All four jointly conspired and committed mailbox theft. Some of the victims of the theft were from the City of Loma Linda. A stolen quad was also located at the abandoned property. Through further investigation, Torres was identified as the suspect who was related to the stolen quad. Hernandez, also located at the abandoned property, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia related to the use of methamphetamine. All six suspects were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center.
