Mayor's Message - Veteran's Day Ceremony

By

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

I am so proud that my hometown welcomes and values the brave men and women who have stepped forward to defend our people and our Constitution.  We will pay tribute to our military veterans at the City’s 12th annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11.

This year’s featured speaker is District 2 Councilwoman Dr. Carla J. Thornton, Master Sergeant USAF (Ret). Councilwoman Thornton is a tireless advocate for service members and veterans and will share her experiences as a service member as well as her thoughts on the importance of honoring those who have served.

This special event will feature a presentation of the colors by the award-winning Moreno Valley High School JROTC Drill Team, remarks from other local officials, musical performances, and a special recognition of the 2019 Heroes 4 Heroes award recipient, an individual or group who has gone above and beyond the call in service to veterans.

Join us as we honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans!
