“The Mission Inn Foundation and Museum is all about the history of this great city, from the late 19th century to today. MISSION STEAMPUNK will celebrate the intersection of late Victorian style, early technology, and the beauty of the National Historic Landmark Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. It’s going to be a spectacular evening!” says Gina Cavallo Collins, Executive Director of the Foundation.

The night kicks off with a champagne welcome in the Mission Inn Museum at 5:30 p.m. before heading up to the main event in the Atrio and Galleria at 6:00 p.m. The hotel’s crown jewel, the St. Francis Chapel, will be open for viewing. This area includes unique and historic architecture paired with so many modern amenities for an enjoyable night. There will be a range of tastes include vegetarian and vegan options, followed an ice cream bar. Signature cocktails will be available so don’t miss out on this chance to get “steamed.” A silent and live auction will feature some of the best of Riverside and beyond, with opportunities to score a deal on sporting events, theme parks, beauty services, and more.

Prices are from $85/person and at $150/couple. Costumes are encouraged however weapons or any replicas, functional or not, are not allowed. Masks are acceptable. All of the proceeds will benefit the Mission Inn Foundation and Museum, an independent nonprofit. Founded in 1976, the Mission Inn Foundation interprets the history and significance of the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa through daily hotel tours, monthly public programs and special events, the Hands On History youth educational initiative, and the continued stewardship of the hotel's expansive art, artifact, and archival collections exhibited in the Mission Inn Museum.
