Get an up-close look at the local company that invented the air-operated, double-diaphragm pump and whose products are used across the globe to pump everything from candy coatings and beer to paint and gasoline. Wilden's pumps clear out flooded buildings and mines, and help factories process toxic waste. Known for innovation and high quality, Wilden pumps work 24/7. Wilden Pump and Engineering Company, a division of the Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) of Dover® Corporation, invites the community to join company team members at the company's headquarters in Grand Terrace for Manufacturing Day on Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public will see how they design, prototype, test, manufacture, assemble and ship our world-famous pumps using “lean” techniques, optimized production technologies and efficient quality control systems. The event will be held at 22069 Van Buren Street in Grand Terrace.
