Grand Terrace residents Arlene Weaver and Don Bartee recently retuned from a trip, taking the Grand Terrace City News with them. The couple first visited Don’s granddaughter, Heather, in New Port, Rhode Island. Next was Boston, followed by Prague, Czech Republic. Weaver and Bartee then took a viking cruise down the Danube River, starting in Nuremberg, Germany, and sightseeing in Regensburg, Passas. They then entered Austria, where they visited Melk and Vienna. They finished their Europe trip in Budapest, Hungary and flew back to the U.S. and went sightseeing in Philadelphia. Being a retired printer, Bartee really enjoyed visiting his patron saint’s Benjamin Franklin’s Museum.
