The City of Moreno Valley’s Technology Services Division has once again set the standard for municipal innovation, earning the prestigious Excellence in IT Practices Award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC) for the 23rd consecutive year.

This remarkable achievement highlights the Division’s unwavering commitment to excellence in technology and service delivery. The MISAC Excellence Award recognizes superior performance in key areas, such as strategic planning and budgeting, operations and staffing, customer satisfaction, project management, GIS, security, and disaster recovery preparedness. Each submission undergoes a rigorous evaluation by a panel of municipal IT Directors to ensure compliance with the highest industry standards.

“Receiving the MISAC Excellence Award for 23 consecutive years is a testament to our team’s dedication, innovation, and service to our residents,” said Moreno Valley Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “We continually strive to deliver creative and efficient technology solutions that support and enhance city operations, keeping Moreno Valley at the forefront of smart, connected communities.”

MISAC represents more than 400 cities and special districts across California, promoting collaboration, professional development, and the advancement of municipal technology. The organization’s Excellence in IT Practices Award is widely regarded as one of the top honors for local government technology programs.
