The upcoming General Election will hold its last voting date on November 8, 2022. For the city of Grand Terrace, there are two candidates running for Mayor, one being William “Bill” Hussey.

Here is their statement:

William “Bill” Hussey

Mayor Pro Tem/ Retired Federal Law Enforcement / US Marine Veteran

"I have served the public and my country since I was 17 years old. I have been a resident in Grand Terrace since 1989. My wife Debbie grew up in Grand Terrace and we raised our two sons here.

I have been your City Councilmember since 2015 and now I want to serve you as your Mayor. I have served this city from youth sports to community leader. I am a big supporter of fighting crime and keeping our city safe.

I am coming to you with a humble heart and asking for your vote. I want to continue to serve you and be the leader of Grand Terrace for each of you. I am not taking any monetary contributions for this election. I am running on pure thoughts and motives. I am not a career politician; instead, I am a man of integrity that will fight to maintain the safety of Grand Terrace as well as build a safe infrastructure.

I am someone with real life experiences that cares for his community and the families that have chosen to call Grand Terrace home. Follow me on Facebook Bill Hussey. Endorsed by Grand Terrace residents. God Bless Bill Hussey."
