School District Sets Public Hearing on Textbook Sufficiency

The Colton Joint Unified School District will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, Aug. 20 to certify that the District is in compliance with the State of California Education Code for ensuring that each pupil from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade has sufficient textbooks and instructional materials that are consistent with the content and cycles of curriculum frameworks adopted by the State Board of Education. The hearing will be held at 6 p.m. in the Board Room at Slover Mountain High School at 18829 Orange Street in Bloomington. Anyone interested in addressing the issue may do so at that time.
