On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at approximately 1215 P.M., Loma Linda Academy Elementary School staff contacted Alonso Garcia after he entered school grounds during recess without authorization. He was escorted to the administration office and deputies responded and conducted an investigation. Deputies arrested Garcia for being under the influence of a controlled substance and trespassing. Garcia did not have any weapons or narcotics on his person. He had no business on campus, no children or family members attending the school, so deputies conducted a safety sweep to ensure the campus was safe.

Garcia was booked at Central Detention Center for Trespassing and Under the influence of a controlled substance.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Deputy Eid Fakhoury of the Central Station (909)387-3545. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to call the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463), or you may leave the information on the We-Tip Hotline at www.wetip.com
