LLU to Host Weight Management Support Group

LOMA LINDA >> Loma Linda University is hosting monthly weight management support group sessions in the Martinson Room of the Loma Linda University’s Drayson Center, 25040 Stewart Street, Loma Linda, CA, 92354. Beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., the monthly sessions will include: comprehensive body composition analysis using InBody 520, guest speakers on various health and nutrition topics, group activities and discussions and spiritual support. The program is being offered to community members free of charge by Loma Linda University School of Public Health and the Drayson Center. “We’re very excited to offer this weight management program to help our community members live healthier lifestyles, and make real changes in their dietary and physical habits,” said Hildemar Dos Santos, MD, DrPH, CHES, CNS, EP-C, Assistant Professor, Preventive Care and Lifestyle Management, Loma Linda University School of Public Health. “In a support group environment, weight loss is made easy.
