Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) Board Director Phil Paule was reelected as EMWD’s Board President for the 2023-24 term during today’s Board of Directors meeting.
Paule has served as EMWD’s Board President for the 2021-22 calendar year and was nominated by his peers on the Board to serve another two-year term. He represents French Valley, Winchester, and portions of Murrieta as the representative for District 1. Paule has served on EMWD’s Board since 2007.
EMWD’s President and Vice President positions are chosen by its publicly-elected Board of Directors to serve two-year terms.
“I am honored that my colleagues on the Board have trusted me with this role for another two-year term, and I look forward to continuing the work our entire Board and organization has done on behalf of our customers,” Paule said.
Stephen Corona, who represents the Temecula area, was selected as Vice President. He has served on EMWD’s Board since 2018 and has previously served on the Board of Directors at Rancho California Water District.
Eastern Municipal Water District is the water, wastewater service and recycled water provider to nearly one million people living and working within a 558-square mile service area in western Riverside County.
