Quaid Harley Davidson Still Giving Back

Although the holiday season of giving is officially over, Quaid Harley Davidson in Loma Linda is starting the year out with gifts for their customers. The family owned and operated dealership participates in several charitable events, but the family wanted to find another way to give back to their customers. On Saturday Jan. 31, Quaid Harley Davidson is holding their First Annual “Quaid Raid.” During the last month Quaid has asked their customers to send in stories about people they know that deserve a make-over for their bike. The Quaids have decided to give three lucky riders an extensive Harley make-over. The winners have no idea that the make-over is coming. With the help of family and friends, the Loma Linda staff will upgrade their bikes and then present to them their new and improved rides during the Jan. 31 event. Brandon Quaid says, “There are so many deserving people. We have such great and caring customers. We have read so many great stories about some really special people. It was so hard to come up with just three” The Quaid Raid event is expected to attract well over 300 riders and their families from all over Southern California for a great day of food, giveaways and some very happy recipients of free upgrades. The event is open to the entire community and the Quaid family hopes it will also draw more attention to their unique dealership. Although there are other Harley dealerships, Quaid seems to stand out in what the dealership calls “The Quaid Difference." Glenn Quaid, the family patriarch said, “We are one of the few dealerships where every employee rides. We don’t just sell bikes to people, like some dealers, we ride with them. Many of our customers have been riding with us for years. This is a lifestyle for us. This event is a way for us to have a Harley family get together and give something back at the same time.” The First Annual Quaid Raid will be happening Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Quaid Harley Davidson, located right off the I10 Freeway at 25160 Redlands Blvd in Loma Linda.
