Last Friday the Grand Terrace High School (GTHS) Titans returned home for the first time in two weeks, hosting their opponents, the Rialto High School (RHS) Knights. The Titans started the match strong, capitalizing on two early turnovers and turning them into 14 points. However, the Knights took control after that, scoring 35 unanswered points, leading to a final score of 50–28, in favor of the Knights. The Titans are on to Sunkist League play, with the first of five games beginning this Friday, Oct. 11 against the Bruins of Bloomington High School (BHS). Friday also marks the GTHS second Up & Coming game. The match will begin at the Titan stadium and will begin at 7 p.m. Following the varsity Titans, the freshman team won with a 46 to 6 final score. The JV Titans will host Bloomington on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 3:15 p.m. at the Titans Stadium, and the freshmen will travel to Bloomington High School with game play beginning at 3:15 Oct. 10.
