CJUSD Announces New Meal Program

COLTON >> CJUSD’s Nutrition Services Department announced it will begin serving a supper/snack meal to students enrolled in some district after-school programs during the upcoming school year. The Child and Adult Care Food Program will provide a supper/snack meal to students enrolled in the district’s after-school Think Together Program and who meet the qualifying income levels for the 2016-17 school year. Some of the elementary schools in Colton include: Alice Birney Elementary, Ulysses Grant Elementary, Abraham Lincoln Elementary, William McKinley Elementary, Paul J. Rogers Elementary, Gerald A. Smith Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Elementary and Walter Zimmerman Elementary. Other elementary schools that are enrolled in the after-school Think Together program in Bloomington include: Crestmore Elementary, Ruth Grimes Elementary and Mary B. Lewis Elementary. Two middle schools, Colton Middle School and Joe Baca Middle School in Bloomington, will also serve students enrolled in the program. Families needing to submit applications for free and/or reduced price meals can apply online at www.cjusd.net or by contacting the Nutrition Services at 909-580-6650, located at 325 N. Hermosa Avenue in Colton.
