The Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce sponsored Farmers Market and Artisan Faire had a little extra sparkle Tuesday December 4th. This week’s market night was light up by the city’s annual tree lighting ceremony at city hall. Sweet sounds of Christmas Carols were in the air as the children’s’ choir sang a few songs of the season. Santa stopped by and was able to visit with those who attended the Farmers Market and took time to do a little shopping with our vendors.
The Children’s community Choir was led by Kristian Leukert, music minister at Loma Linda University church. Children from Missions Elementary, Bryn Mawr Elementary and Loma Linda Elementary joined together in singing a few songs including an adorable theatrical rendition of We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
The weekly Farmers Market and Artisan Faire has a wide variety of vendors who come out each week. From jewelry, clothing and home décor to candles, essential oils and personal care products, there is shopping options of everyone.
The market also offers local farm fresh produce, fresh baked bread, candy, gourmet nuts, jerky and much more. There is a great variety of tasty food made fresh on site; tamales, pizza, tacos, sushi, just to name a few. And what would a farmer’s market in Loma Linda be without a variety of tasty Vegan Options…. even sushi.
The Loma Linda Farmers Market and Artisan Faire is held every Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at 25541 Barton Rd.
