Last Friday, Aug. 15, Blossom Grove Alzheimer’s Special Care Center put on a carnival for their patients.
The carnival, although inside, was full of popcorn, chips, candy, soda, balloons, games, and even a clown for the attendees' entertainment.
The clown made animals, swords, and different characters out of balloons. There were different games for those in attendance to play, and prizes including stuffed animals.
One of the workers at one point, started a balloon sword fight by yelling “en garde!” It was a close battle; however, the worker’s sword popped and the participating patient was the winner.
Jenga was one of the games that was there. Winners had an option of receiving a prize, which were primarily stuffed animals. Although, many people were just relaxing and eating, everyone was still able to pick their favorite prize.
