GT Tribe Baseball Club, a dedicated non-profit youth travel ball organization, is thrilled to announce the presentation of our inaugural college scholarship to Gilbert Villareal, a distinguished 2024 graduate of Grand Terrace High School.

Gilbert Villareal, a standout student-athlete, has committed to pursuing a degree in finance at Riverside City College this fall. His journey is a testament to dedication, hard work, and the pursuit of excellence both on and off the field.

During his time at Grand Terrace High School, Gilbert demonstrated outstanding leadership and athletic prowess, playing football all four years and serving as the team captain in his senior year. His achievements as a scholar and an athlete have made him a role model for his peers, embodying the spirit of perseverance and academic excellence.

"We are beyond proud to present our inaugural college scholarship tonight to Gilbert Villareal," said Mark Romo, President of GT Tribe Baseball Club. "Gilbert's hard work and dedication inspire us all. We are excited to support his educational journey and look forward to seeing his future accomplishments."

GT Tribe is committed to fostering the growth and development of young athletes and scholars. By providing this scholarship, we aim to help Gilbert and future recipients achieve their academic and career goals. This initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to empowering youth through education and sports.

"On behalf of Tribe, we are thrilled to provide this opportunity to help Gilbert continue his education," Sandra Romo, a Board Member of GT Tribe Baseball Club added. "Your hard work and dedication inspire us all, Gilbert. Here’s to a bright future ahead."
