Healthy Start to the New Year

As we kick off 2025, and the local gyms get busier than ever with people aiming to fulfill their resolutions, I’m excited to share a few alternate opportunities to help you and your family start 2025 on a healthy and positive note, and keep the drive alive throughout the year.

Whether you want to explore our beautiful city, connect with your neighbors, or have fun, we’ve got something for everyone!

Starting on January 25, our Hike to the Top program is back for those who love the great outdoors! Take in the breathtaking views from Box Springs Mountain, Lake Perris, or Hidden Springs. It’s your chance to reconnect with nature and start the year off on the right foot—pun intended. Our city parks and trails are always open for exploring, so grab your sneakers and enjoy the fresh air.

If you’re ready to hit the ground running (literally!), save the date for our Fun Color Run happening on November 15. While this event is still several months out, it’s the perfect way to get active while adding a splash of color to your day and something to look forward to. And why not start building up to the Run’s 2-mile distance now, or work up to being able to challenge your personal time in last year’s event?

And if fitness is one of your New Year’s resolutions, we’ve got you covered. Check out our Conference and Recreation Center, located at 14075 Frederick Street, offering something for everyone. From fitness classes to sports leagues for all ages, we have you covered.

I encourage you to take advantage of all that Moreno Valley has to offer this year.

Here’s to a healthy and exciting start to 2025!
