Hometown Spirit Shine's

This past weekend, the Walgreens parking lot came alive with the roar of engines, the gleam of polished chrome, and the warm buzz of community connection as Cars and Coffee Grand Terrace welcomed over 43 incredible vehicles to its monthly gathering.

From classic muscle to modern imports, the event drew a lively mix of car enthusiasts, families, and curious newcomers — all eager to celebrate the shared passion for automotive culture. The event was especially heartwarming, with many familiar faces returning alongside a wave of new attendees, all contributing to the growing excitement and tight-knit vibe that defines this hometown tradition. 

Organized monthly by devoted community leaders Johan Gallo and William “Chuck” Cecil, Cars and Coffee GRAND TERRACE has become more than just a car meet — it’s a beacon for local connection, charity, and grassroots spirit. Both Johan and Chuck are known throughout Grand Terrace for their ongoing efforts in organizing events and fundraisers that directly support causes close to home. 

Held every month from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Walgreens parking lot, the event is open to all — whether you’re showing off your ride or simply enjoying the atmosphere. With each month bringing something new, it’s quickly becoming a must-attend gathering for residents and visitors alike. 

Mark your calendars and fuel up for next month — Cars and Coffee GRAND TERRACE is where engines and hearts both run warm.
