Ann Alice Conley was born in Bellflower, CA on July 2, 1938. Her first marriage was with Donald W. Wiglesworth it was comfortable and productive which gave Ann two children, Margaret and Durk, whom she adored. Her second marriage, to Earl Conley, gave her a soul-mate, for 35 wonderful years together, and two step children, Earl Conley II and Laura Conley. Ann Conley died on February 5, 2021 at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 3 days.
Ann was an overcomer. She negotiated whatever life dealt her and came out on top. She loved people and was a leader all her life long. Ann was smart and resourceful. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. “Throughout my life my mother inspired me. She was strong, resourceful, and a devout Christian. Life will not be the same without her,” says her daughter, Margie Miller, Publisher of City News Group. She lived life with a gusto, not being afraid of trying anything. She and Earl spent two years full-time traveling in their motor-home and saw much of the United States. After their prolonged road trip they settled in Lake Havasu. She belonged to many community service organizations and was very involved with her church. She certainly was a special woman.
Ann also loved her God and served him faithfully all her life long. She lived by the principles in Philippians 4:8-9. She was noble and right and excellent and praiseworthy. Not only was that a description of her life, it was what she modeled for us to live our lives by. Just a month and a half ago on February 5th, Ann heard the voice of God whispers in her ear. Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord. Ann is looking into the eyes of Jesus and is forever living the reward of her faith. Thanks be to God for the life of Ann Conley. Amen. Ann is survived by her daughter Margaret Miller, son Durk Wiglesworth, and stepson Earl Conley II, and stepdaughter Laura Conley.
