LifeHouse Theater is pleased to announce the return of the popular Sunday Night Special series of productions beginning with the musical biography “Florence Nightingale.”

“Florence Nightingale” reveals the true story of how a determined woman revolutionized the medical professions, gave the world modern nursing and changed the course of history.

“Florence Nightingale” will be presented for one night only, Sunday, September 19 at 7:00 PM.  Advance ticket prices are $16 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-11 and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037 or online at www.boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com.  Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends.  Tickets are $1 more the day of the performance. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as seats are limited.

Current LifeHouse Theater season passholders can purchase adult tickets for $10.

“This is an amazing story, and we look forward to our return engagement of our inspirational musical ‘Florence Nightingale,’” comments LifeHouse president Wayne Scott.  “Our Sunday Night Specials series allows us to present engaging productions like the powerful true events in Florence Nightingale’s life.”

“We are honored to present this story of an amazing woman who was a pioneer in the medical field,” added LifeHouse general manager Jeff DeWitt.  “This production is so timely as we consider all those in the medical community who have been heroically facing many challenges over the past year and a half.”

Directed by Jennifer Keeney, “Florence Nightingale” features Jennifer M. DeWitt as Florence with Deborah Race playing the older Florence Nightingale.  Also featured in the musical are Kirstie Acosta, Rebecca Argentine, William Argentine, Julie Carlson, Ethan Derry, Haley Derry, Micah Derry, Ethan Evans, Jordan Evans, Josiah Evans, Morgan Evans, Alan Flores, Cathy Flores, Chris Flores, Elaine Flores, Ruth Frasch, Elzabeth Keeney, Jacob Michel, Tiffany Michel, and Zachary Michel.

On select Sunday nights, LifeHouse Theater will present special one-act productions, both plays and musicals, ranging from dramatic to comedic and from inspirational to hilarious.  Each Sunday Night Special will be presented for either one or two night only engagements. Future LifeHouse Theater Sunday Night Specials include the Halloween themed “A Villainous Musical Showcase” (Oct. 24, 2021), “A Christmas Song In My Heart (Dec. 5 & 12, 2021), “Great Minds at the Round Table” (Jan. 16 & 17, 2022), a special Valentine’s presentation of “An Evening of Love and Laughter” (Feb. 13, 2022), “Harriet Tubman” (Feb. 27, 2022), and “Heroes of the Faith" (Spring 2022).

The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School.  Free parking is available in back of the theater.  More information can be found by visiting the website at www.lifehousetheater.com.
