The San Bernardino County Library is searching for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to join their team. This unique opportunity allows motivated teens to make a positive impact on their community by assisting with various aspects of library operations.

By volunteering with the San Bernardino County Library, teens will gain valuable skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and help foster a love for literacy in their community.

Teen volunteers at the San Bernardino County Library will have the chance to participate in a wide range of activities, including:

  • Organizing and preparing craft programs
  • Shelving and organizing books and materials
  • Assisting with special events

To be eligible for the teen volunteer program, applicants must be between the ages of 14 and 17 years old and possess a genuine passion for learning, and community service. Volunteers are required to work a set schedule that best fits the needs of the Library and to adhere to a dress code. No prior experience is required, as the library staff will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure a rewarding and successful volunteering experience.

Interested teens can access the volunteer application by visiting the San Bernardino County Library website at www.sbclib.org/volunteer or by visiting the Loma Linda Branch Library. Eligible candidates will be invited to participate in an interview process.

By becoming a volunteer at the San Bernardino County Library, teens will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on their community and develop essential leadership skills. The library staff is eager to welcome motivated and dedicated teens to join their team.
