I am sorry I cannot join you today to honor our nation's fallen heroes. My prayers are for the families whose loved ones never came home while serving this great nation.

John 15:13- "Greater love has no one than t6his: that a man lay down his life for his friends"

Today as we honor our service members who never got to return home to thier loved ones, we give our loved and respect for their ultimate sacrifice in giving his or her life in service of this country. So, today on Memorial Day, we take time to show our respect and honor our men and women who were called home by the lord as they gave their life for their friends, family, country and for strangers they will never know.

I thank everyone who has taken time today to honor those who deserve it most. God Bless the families of the fallen and God Bless the U.S.A. The Grand Terrace CIty COuncil and I thank you.
