Dear Moreno Valley Residents,
Our parks are the beating heart of Moreno Valley. They are where the community comes together to play, exercise, celebrate, and spend a day outdoors.
Each of our 33 parks has a special quality that makes it unique, from the water features at Celebration and Bethune Parks to the exercise area at Santiago Park.
I am excited to share two upcoming events that will further enhance our incredible parks.
On Monday, January 30, at 4:45 p.m., the City Council and I will officially flip the switch on brand-new soccer field lights at Victoriano Park.
These state-of-the-art LED lights will illuminate the field well into the evening, allowing our youth soccer teams to play longer and with more visibility.
I am also thrilled to announce the first Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service of 2023 on Saturday, February 11, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Beautify MoVal is among our most popular City events because it showcases the power of community pride. Residents of all ages come together at these events to keep our Moreno Valley parks looking beautiful.
This time, we will beautify Westbluff Park in District Two and John F. Kennedy Memorial Park in District Four. Be sure to sign up at moval.org/beautify.
