Mayor's Weekly Message 47

By Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

The holidays are a time of giving back – and the City of Moreno Valley is giving back in a big way.

Our police officers and firefighters are collecting new toys and sports equipment to give every Moreno Valley child a present to open this holiday season.

The Fire Department’s Spark of Love toy drive also helps Santa deliver joy – and presents – to children hospitalized at Riverside University Health System.

And the Police Department will be hosting dozens of local families in need for its annual Holiday Cheer Party. Police officers will also give out donated toys and candy across the City during the Holiday Cheer parade.

Visit moval.org to find out about how to donate and make the holidays magical for Moreno Valley’s children.

On behalf of the City, thank you for caring about our community during this holiday season!
