On Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 4:00 P.M., the Moreno Valley Master Chorale will present “CELEBRATE LOVE,” a pops concert at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 11650 Perris Blvd. in Moreno Valley. This lighthearted trip through the joys and perils of love will feature our wonderful Chorale soloists, as well as our amazing accompanist, Jonathan Keplinger. Highlights of the concert will include favorites from Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Phantom of the Opera, “Think of Me” sung by Natalie Artinian, and “Love Changes Everything,” by the Chorale ensemble. Popular selections from West Side Story to be performed are, “Tonight” and “Somewhere.” Some of the other melodies to be presented by Chorale soloists will include, “Tightrope” from The Greatest Showman, sung by Mary Garrison, and “Ten Minutes Ago” from Cinderella performed by Liora Gheorghe. Bethany Wilson will sing “Can’t Help Lovin’ That Man of Mine” from the musical, Showboat. The Chorale will round out the program with “Never My Love,” “Plaisir d’Amour,” “Somebody Loves Me,” and many other beautiful love songs from the repertoire, highlighting the ups and downs of romance. Hope to see you there. Tickets (cash only) are available at the door: Adults--$15.00; Seniors—$10.00; and Students are free with ID.
