The City of Moreno Valley is pleased to announce the opening of several new eateries, including ALUX, 85°C Bakery Cafe, CAVA, and Dutch Bros Coffee, adding to the selection of local dining options, and transforming the city into a diverse regional dining destination.

“We are thrilled to welcome all of these new eateries to Moreno Valley, each bringing unique flavors and experiences that enrich our community,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “These openings offer even more choices for our residents and signify our city’s growth as an increasingly vibrant destination for dining and gathering.”

ALUX, located at 23750 Alessandro Boulevard, is inspired by the flavors and culture of Tulum, Mexico. The menu showcases bold, authentic tastes in a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Known for its fresh-baked bread, pastries, and unique coffee creations, 85°C Bakery Cafe, located at 12625 Fredrick Street, offers many unique, palate-enticing offerings.

Additionally, CAVA, at 12510 Day Street, a fast-casual Mediterranean eatery serving customizable bowls and salads, provides another exciting dining option.

The nation’s fourth-largest coffee chain, Dutch Bros Coffee is famous for its extensive menu of hot and iced coffees, teas, smoothies, shakes, and energy drinks. The drive-thru-formatted shop freshly opened last week at 23140 Hemlock Avenue.

“Moreno Valley’s residents have more dining options than ever,” said Council Member Elena Baca-Santa Cruz. “These new businesses will provide jobs, support our local economy, and further encourage cultural and social diversity in our City.”

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
