MoVal's Holiday Tree Lights Up the Season!

Hooray! The holidays are officially here in Moreno Valley!

Last weekend, the Moreno Valley community came together to welcome the holiday season during our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall, and we also celebrated Moreno Valley's 40th Anniversary with a celebratory song and specially decorated cupcakes!

Plus, Santa Claus himself made a special appearance to join the City Council in flipping the giant switch to light up our iconic 30-foot Holiday Tree! It was a wonderful and festive event for the entire family. And now that it's lit, we encourage Moreno Valley residents to stop by our Holiday Tree at City Hall to capture some amazing family photos for the holiday season.

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
