Our Pet of the Week is Shadow, a 7-year-old black and brown German Shepherd mix. He is a big teddy bear with a big heart, and loves to do tricks like "shake" and "sit," and eager to learn more! He's good on a leash and enjoys playing with other dogs.

If you would like to make Shadow or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.

It’s almost summer! But along with the holiday celebrations, outdoor fun, and family activities, comes the risk of pets getting lost or escaping the safety of their homes. To help increase the number of lost pets getting returned to their owners, the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter will be hosting a multi-day Free Microchip Event, providing HomeAgain microchips to the first 300 pets owned by Moreno Valley residents, so whether you adopt Shadow or have your own beloved pet you would love to keep from getting lost come on in and visit the MoVal Animal Shelter!

Dates

Starts Tuesday, April 23, until supplies last.

Hours of Event

Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Location

Moreno Valley Animal Shelter

14041 Elsworth Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92552
