On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the Sheriff’s Athletic Federation (SAF) hosted its annual San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Mud Run at the Frank Bland Regional Training Center. Participants from Academy Class 241 and Class 242 joined hundreds of runners in the exciting and muddy challenge.

The event featured a 5K course for adults and a 1K run for kids, offering fun and fitness for all ages. Alongside the race, a variety of local vendors added to the festive atmosphere. Dirty Pop kept attendees refreshed with iced coffee, while Baked Me Beautiful offered delicious baked goods. Other vendors included Law Enforcement Premier Credit Union, Chosen Way Apparel, and C4 Performance Energy Drink, among others.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Explorers volunteered their time to assist runners, offering duct taping services for shoes and bag checks in exchange for donations supporting their youth program.

Awards were presented to the Top Three Male and Female Individuals, Top Three Teams, and the Top SBCSD Station Team, recognizing outstanding performance and teamwork throughout the event.

This marks my third consecutive year participating and photographing the event & bringing our Once a Titan… Always a Titan by TME Photography team. My sons Christian and Jonathan celebrated their third year participating, Aaron Inzunza completed his second year, and Anthony Valencia & Juan Sandoval proudly joined for their first year.

“It’s always a very competitive race, but more than that, it’s an incredible display of teamwork, determination, and community spirit,” said the team. The TME team enjoys it and plans to return next year.

Special thanks to this year’s sponsors for their continued support, Stater Bros. Charities, Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, Local 12 for helping build the course.

Job well done SAF, we appreciate all your hard work in putting this together for everyone to enjoy it.
