We are so excited to be welcoming audiences back in droves!
Though many theater companies will not reopen, God’s providence has allowed LifeHouse to survive the challenges of the past two years. I’m beyond thankful.
After months of closure during the pandemic, it’s been a blessing to see so many of our guests joining us again—sooner and in greater numbers than I might have expected. Oh me of little faith!
Guests tell me how glad they are to be returning. They love the consistently faith-affirming, inspirational themes of our productions.
Our current new musical, “Jericho: The Courage of Rahab and Joshua,” is another original that highlights our commitment to unique theater experiences pointing to God. And this amazing account underscores God’s faithfulness as He works wonders through His people.
God still works wonders through His people. Faithful partners like you have been moved to support the outreach of LifeHouse in times of need.
I would like to ask for your help in meeting some unexpected and unusual needs.
The theater recently suffered the loss of an air conditioning unit that was stolen. Insurance covered only part of the loss, leaving $7,000 for LifeHouse to pay. Additional new security measures—an alarm, security cameras, and special lighting—have also increased expenses.
We are also in urgent need of new carpet in the theater. Our current carpeting is 23 years old. You have likely noticed the wear. We have nursed it along, but the professionals tell us it has been stretched to the limit. It cannot become a tripping hazard to guests. The estimate for its replacement is $14,000.
Therefore, we need to raise $21,000 above our ongoing operational expenses as soon as possible. These are critical, tangible needs. Once we meet them, we’ll all see and experience an immediate improvement.
