THE MORENO VALLEY MASTER CHORALE & ORCHESTRA PRESENTS: CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD

THE MORENO VALLEY MASTER CHORALE and orchestra will perform

a concert of popular Christmas Carols from around the world on Sunday,

Dec. 10, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church,

11650 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley, CA 92557.

Please plan to come, sit back, and relax, as the chorale and orchestra, put

you in a festive mood while performing a wonderful selection of holiday

music. Dr. Gheorghe has arranged much of the music himself, and has

chosen carols from Russia, Rumania, Germany, Spain, Mexico and many

other nations. Of course, the concert will also feature our traditional “Singa-

Long” of favorite carols as well.

Camelia Voin, will again be our soloist as she accompanies the Chorale for

Ave Maria by Vladimir Vavilov, and Gesu Bambino by Pietro Yon. In

addition, she and Stephanie Steele will be singing a duet in our opening

number, along with the Chorale and orchestra, Glory to God in the

Highest by G.B. Pergolesi.

Tickets (cash only) will be available at the door, and are priced as follows:

adults $15.00; seniors, $10.00; all students will be admitted for free with ID.

Starting January 8, 2023, the Chorale will begin rehearsals for our spring

Music of the Masters concert. New singers are welcome to join us at the

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church for rehearsals every Monday

evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Also, students 16-21 years of age are

encouraged to apply for one of our Youth Internships. This program is

open to any student who wants to improve his/her singing abilities. New

singer registration forms, or Youth Internship applications, can be found
