In a touching testament to community and compassion, The Unforgettables Foundation recently marked its 25th anniversary with a remarkable celebration hosted by Garner Holt Productions. The event, dubbed "An Enchanted Evening Under the Sea," beautifully encapsulated the spirit of the foundation's mission: to assist low-income families in providing dignified funeral arrangements for their children who have passed away.

Founded in 1999 by Timothy Evans, The Unforgettables Foundation has become a beacon of hope and support for families facing one of life's most heartbreaking trials. By aiding with the costs and logistics of funerals, the foundation ensures that all children are honored and remembered, regardless of a family's financial situation.

The anniversary celebration was not just a fundraiser but a showcase of the immense impact and community support that has buoyed the foundation for a quarter of a century. Held at the mesmerizing venue provided by Garner Holt Productions, known for their unparalleled expertise in animatronics and themed environments, the evening was nothing short of magical. The décor, atmosphere and the tour, inspired by oceanic wonders, provided a serene backdrop to an event marked by deep emotion and communal resolve.

Special guest panelists for the evening included retired Disney Imagineers Larry Nicholai and Chris Crump, along with our gracious host Garner Holt himself. Their presence underscored the foundation’s connection to storytelling and creativity in memorializing lives that, while too short, profoundly touch others.

The event was further enlivened with a silent auction, a popular "wine pull," and friendly table auctions all of which were generously supported by guests including key figures from the San Bernardino County School District and Superintendent of Schools among other community leaders. The funds raised during these activities are crucial, directly supporting the foundation's core mission of aiding families during unimaginable times.

Dinner and dessert were not only a feast for the palate but also for the eyes, enhancing the enchanting theme and providing a warm, convivial environment where guests could mingle, share stories, and reaffirm their support for the foundation’s cause.

The Unforgettables Foundation, through events like this and the day-to-day dedication of its staff and volunteers, highlights a critical and often overlooked aspect of community health and support. As the foundation looks towards the future, its role within the community is more vital than ever, ensuring that no child's life is uncelebrated, nor any family's grief unaided.

The continued success and support of the foundation exemplify how collective action and empathy can transcend individual suffering, creating a legacy of kindness and remembrance that profoundly impacts society. As The Unforgettables Foundation continues its compassionate mission, it remains a poignant reminder of the good that can flourish when a community comes together to support its most vulnerable
