The City of Moreno Valley and the Arts Commission invite local artists to submit original designs for a new Public Art initiative. This project will highlight the City’s history, heritage, culture, and contemporary identity by transforming utility boxes into vibrant works of art. For more info, please visit moval.org/art.

Local and regional artists are encouraged to submit original artwork for the opportunity to transform 32 utility boxes into vibrant public art pieces. This project aims to enhance a sense of place and pride in our community by celebrating Moreno Valley’s history, heritage, culture, and contemporary identity.

Selected designs will be reproduced as vinyl wraps and installed on utility boxes throughout the city, turning ordinary infrastructure into colorful reflections of the City’s spirit. Artists only need to submit artwork; no physical painting or installation is necessary.

Apply Today! Up to $500 available per utility box.
