What's to Come in 2025

Moreno Valley continues to flourish, and with 2025 officially underway, the City has some exciting projects and events lined up that will make this year another one to remember.

First, we’re kicking off the year with the groundbreaking of the highly anticipated Pump Track later this month. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just looking for a new way to stay active, this state-of-the-art facility will be a fantastic addition to our recreational offerings once it has been completed.

We have big news for our dog parents, too! Our brand-new dog park, opening this summer, will be the perfect spot for our furry friends to stretch their legs and for neighbors to connect.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to find a new job, we’re here to help. The City will be hosting Regional Job Fairs in February, May, and September, and we’re bringing back the 5th Annual Apprenticeship Expo again in November. These events, along with all the wonderful services offered by the Business and Employment Resource Center (BERC) are geared toward helping our residents and veterans thrive right here at home.

In 2025, we will also welcome several new businesses to Moreno Valley: Crumbl Cookie, Taqueria 2 Potrillos (opening its second location), and the RGB Pro Boxing Academy are just a few of the exciting grand openings on the horizon. These businesses bring jobs, economic growth, and a sense of community pride to our beloved City.

A new medical office building housing Loma Linda University Health and RadNet, and later in the year, we’ll celebrate the opening of the Sunnymead Ranch Branch of the Moreno Valley Library System, and the long-awaited expansion of the Senior Center, giving our seniors and families more resources and spaces to connect.

As always, our Parks & Community Services event calendar is packed with fun and engaging events throughout the year. Make sure you follow us on our social media accounts and read our Soaring Guide to stay up to date on events like the Fourth of July Parade and Funfest, El Grito, the Fun Color Run, and much, MUCH more! From concerts and cultural celebrations to family-friendly festivals, day camps, and pet adoption events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This is just a taste of what’s to come in 2025, so get ready for another GREAT year, MoVal! Let’s make this year a time of connection, growth, and celebration for Moreno Valley.
