Description: Golda Berkman was only 9 when she first sang "O mio babbino caro,” one of the greatest arias of opera. Now 17, she sings it again in her professional opera debut portraying the starring role of Lauretta in Redlands Opera Theatre’s presentation of Puccini’s comic opera Gianni Schicchi on Nov. 4, 5 and 12, 13 at Kimberly Hall-First Congregational Church of Redlands, 2 W. Olive Ave., Redlands, CA 92373. Performances are at 7 p.m. except on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m.
