Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

Moreno Valley is our home, and as a community, we all do our part to keep our City a beautiful place to live. And while this is a year-round duty for all of us, I appreciate the special days or programs throughout the year that encourage us to go above and beyond in caring for our hometown.

I encourage you to join us for our Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our Community Demonstration Garden. The event will feature environmental organization booths, raffles, workshops, and many more Earth-friendly activities.

We will also provide tours of our Community Demonstration Garden, allowing you to see firsthand what we’re doing to keep Moreno Valley beautiful.

Our Community Demonstration Garden is an oasis of sustainable gardening right here at Moreno Valley City Hall. You can take classes from UCR’s master gardeners and learn the best practices on how to create your own perfect garden.

The Community Demonstration Garden is located behind the Conference & Recreation Center at 14075 Frederick Street.

Our 34 parks and various trails continue to be beautifully maintained and act as natural refuges for residents to spend a fun and healthy day outdoors.

In fact, we recently received the Crown Communities award by American City and County for completion of the Juan Bautista de Anza Multi-Use Trail Project, and I’m proud to say that Moreno Valley was once again named a Tree City USA.

Learn more at moval.org/parks, and I’ll see you there!

UU.
