LifeHouse Theater is proud to present the new original musical adaptation of “Alice In Wonderland.” Guests will be whisked away to the curious world of Wonderland where things are not always what they seem. All the favorite madcap characters are here, but Alice discovers truth amidst the nonsense. This new musical event is fun for all ages. Performances began Saturday, Feb. 13 and will continue on weekends through March 20. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. In addition to the weekend performances, there will be a special weekday performance on Thursday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. The 7:30 p.m. performance on Friday, Feb. 26 will also feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf. “Alice In Wonderland” is written and directed by Jeffrey A. DeWitt with music and lyrics by LifeHouse Theater founder and president Wayne R. Scott. Joining DeWitt on the production staff is assistant director J. Wiley, choreographer Sanlyn Carter, vocal director Amy Muthersbaugh and make-up designer Katie Masiewicz. Costume design is by Cristy Conrad-Wiley and set design is by Tim Mahoney. “We are thrilled to at last be bringing this classic story to the LifeHouse stage,” said Scott. “It’s been a joy bringing this story back to its origins in the Lewis Carroll books and making it an experience the entire family can enjoy together. I guarantee guests will laugh out loud at the zany antics of these Wonderland characters, and yet, still find a purpose for Alice’s adventure.” “Alice In Wonderland” features Sydney Schultis as Alice, Sanlyn Carter as the Cheshire Cat, Virginia Watterson as the Queen of Hearts, Andrew Lizotte as the Mad Hatter, Garrett Goodell as the March Hare and Jacob Michel as the White Rabbit. Also featured are Sophia Partain as the Dormouse, Sally Angell as the Duchess, Bryan Schultis as the King of Hearts, Tai Dooley as the Caterpillar, Aaron Yañez as the Dodo, Coral Gonzales as the Mock Turtle, Rich Durant as the Gryphon, Mandy Michel as Tweedledee, Zachary Michel as Tweedledum, Scott Deininger as Henry Liddell and Julie Carlson as Lorina Liddell. Advance ticket prices are $16 or $20 for adults and $8 or $10 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted) and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037. Tickets are available online at boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1 to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $1 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances do sell out. LifeHouse Theater’s 22nd season continues with the long awaited return of the original musical “Moses” (Apr. 2 - May 1, 2016), followed by “The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe” (May 14 - June 12, 2016), “Rapunzel Untangled” (June 25 - July 24, 2016), “Elijah” (Aug. 6 - Sept. 4, 2016) and “The Hiding Place” (Sept. 17 - Oct. 16, 2016). Money-saving season passes are now on sale at the LifeHouse Box Office and make great gifts for Christmas. The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School. Free parking is available in back of the theater.
