During the Tuesday, December 20 meeting, the Moreno Valley City Council unanimously appointed District 4 Council Member Cheylynda Barnard as the City's next Mayor Pro Tem.

"Cheylynda Barnard is an exemplary public servant, and I am proud that she is our next Mayor Pro Tem," said Mayor Ulises Cabrera.
