The Colton Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Royal Gentz Association, proudly delivered 70 Thanksgiving baskets to seven schools within the Colton Unified School District. Each school selected ten families to receive a basket, ensuring that households in need were supported during the holiday season.

The Chamber coordinated with each school’s principal and secretary to schedule delivery dates and times. At some campuses, committee members were able to personally meet and greet the families; at others, baskets were dropped off for staff to distribute.

The four-member committee—Rudy Garcia (Royal Gentz), Cynthia Rosales (Royal Gentz), Christina Gaitan (Colton Chamber), and Thomas Gaitan (Colton Chamber)—worked diligently to solicit donations and gather all necessary items. Responsibilities were divided among the team, resulting in another successful year of service.

This year, ten generous sponsors contributed to the food drive. The organizations are proud to mark their twelfth year working together to provide families with a full box of Thanksgiving dinner necessities. Special thanks go to Eric and Pricilla from Grocery Outlet for storing the turkeys until the day of distribution.

The Colton Chamber of Commerce extends heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors and supporters.
God Bless, and Happy Thanksgiving from the Colton Chamber of Commerce.

The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
